Trump Implements Citizenship Verification for SBA Loans to Curb Taxpayer Benefits for Illegal Aliens

This week I signed a new policy that will require SBA lenders to conduct citizenship verification for loan applications – to end the flow of taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens.

As of today, it’s official. America First!

In a significant move aimed at tightening regulations around small business loans, the Biden administration has announced a new policy requiring Small Business Administration (SBA) lenders to verify the citizenship status of loan applicants. This policy, which was signed into effect this week, seeks to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing taxpayer-funded financial assistance, thereby ensuring that benefits are directed exclusively toward U.S. citizens.

The initiative, promoted under the banner of ‘America First,’ comes in response to ongoing concerns regarding immigration and economic support systems. Proponents argue that this measure will safeguard taxpayer dollars and prioritize the needs of American citizens and legal residents in the economic recovery process. However, critics warn that such stringent measures could inadvertently hinder legitimate business owners who may face challenges in providing the necessary documentation.

As the implementation begins, both supporters and detractors of the policy are closely monitoring its impact on small businesses across the nation. The administration emphasizes its commitment to fostering an equitable economic landscape while ensuring that federal resources are utilized effectively for those who are legally entitled to them.
